Please have a read below about the Company offering the training and what the course has to offer.
This Course will increase awareness of the risks to staff’s personal safety and develop practical strategies and confidence for avoiding, reducing or managing the risk of violence to staff working in the NHS
Prior to setting up ‘Personal Safety Training Services Ltd’ in 2008 Stephen Francis was managing the Personal Safety Training team at the former Leeds Mental Health Teaching NHS Trust, (now Leeds and York Partnership Foundation Trust). He has over thirty years general and mental health nursing experience within the NHS with the last seven in a managerial and training role. The company is grounded in the knowledge from this vast experience and therefore has the ability to relate training to actual past events.
We can provide training in all aspects of managing violence and aggression for all staff in NHS general and mental health care settings and in addition can also supply training to local organisations such as NHS primary care trusts and private healthcare providers.
Customers past and present include NHS Trust Mental Healthcare Staff, Leeds Beckett University student nurses, and Nursing Agencies
All our trainers have an NHS background and Health care specific instructors qualification, usually to diploma or degree level. All our courses have two instructors.
